  •  Wonder if the Romneys will ever recognize (8+ / 0-)

that they too were scammed.  Rove and his ilk appealed to the man's narcissism and his family paid a very high personal cost.

    •  I wonder too if they realize they (4+ / 0-)

basically sold their souls to try to win this election.  Maybe they don't care, but I would hope they do.  This election restores a bit of my faith in at least 51% of the American people.  Now, let's get to work on making future elections more efficient and uniform.  Haven't we learned by now that our vote is too important to trust to bad voting machines, corrupt state officials, and the whims of individual state governments?  I was heartened to hear the President refer to that in his acceptance speech.

No laws changing registration or voting requirements and rules within 6 months of an election.

And clearly, even updating the registration rolls needs to be regulated and supervised.

There needs to be legal ways to identify what information can be relied upon to identify who should be purged, and some kind of audit system.

There needs to be legal requirements for processing new registrations.

And with occupy sandy we see how much we need same day registration - even if that means you cast a provisional ballot if you are changing your state.

      •  Nah, narcissts don't self reflect in that way (0+ / 0-)

        - Pun intended!

We have our own examples of that.
