  •  They forgot to check population stats (24+ / 0-)

Percentage of women in the US:  51%

How stupid do they have to be to forget that with a 51% majority, most of the women have brains..., and those of us with brains are totally offended that they want to treat us like livestock to be bred, or treat us like we have non-functioning brains that they think they can use by telling us what we think and forget that we can think for ourselves, thankyouverymuch.

How stupid do they think women are that they think they can dictate different kinds of rape?  For their edification:  rape is rape, and it's all illegal, you arseholes!  I noticed the rape apologists lost, some big time (Akin and Mourdoch for two).

    Schadenfreude in the morning:  Aaaaahhhhhh....

I loathe morons who underestimate women.

[One fly in the ointment:  Guano Loco Bachmann has been declared the winner by AP.  Just barely, by the totals on the MN SoS web site, but that willfully ignorant fool is getting sent back to DC, much to my annoyance.  MN did well otherwise.  Ellison (House) & Klobuchar (Senate) are going back to DC.  Cravaack got kicked out of Dist. 8 (thankfully), replaced by Nolan whose acceptance speech had one bit that echoed what I've written on DK about Social Security and Medicare being Earned Benefits, not Entitlements, and that not one penny of either one contributes to the national debt, and he reiterated that both need to be protected.  I almost passed out from shock hearing my words echoed back to me and wondered if someone on his staff reads DK.  Really, it was like Nolan read my mind!!!]

      •  :-) Thanks! (8+ / 0-)

Remember, it's only AP who has declared her a winner.  MN SoS has not declared Guano Loco Bachmann a winner yet.

I just heard a brief blurb on one station in the Cities that a recount is likely.  [Whether or not that is true or false, I do not YET know.  The numerical totals, however, are close, and may well fall within the numbers in state law that mandate a recount, only this moment I can't remember what that percentage is, so I'll wait for the MN Secretary of State to declare an official winner - or a recount.  AP's declaration doesn't mean anything to me.]

Oh, the Other Good Political News:  MN's State legislature, both the House and the Senate, are back in DFL majorities.  Two years ago when Dayton was elected gov, both flipped to Repukes for the first time in over 30 years.  Naturally, they went straight into gridlock right away and refused to work with the Gov.

Of course, I'm smiling about the fact that the Gov., House, and Senate are all back under Dem control in MN....  MN is normally a Democratic state (Dem presidents win here 99.9% of the time), and the Repukes we have are normally pretty moderate (Guano Loco Bachmann is the exception; I still have no explanation for that fluke other than there must be something in the water in Dist. 6 that keeps those idiots in Dist. 6 voting for her, altho I haven't the foggiest idea WHY).  :-D
