    Many of these folks are propagandists.

    It's certainly tempting to declare that Dick Morris is far stupider than, say, George Will, but they both are highly compensated to do their part in attempting to shape the narrative.

    The same holds for that odious Peggy Noonan, who cloaks her claptrap in highfalutin drivel.

    Remember four years ago, when a live mic caught her during a commercial break?  She actually spoke her mind about what a colossally stupid move it was to make Palin the VP choice.  Then they came back from break, and she went back to supporting the farce.

    For these folks, I think the part they play is morally indefensible.  For Boehner and Cantor, both of whom I despise, I can't fault them for declaring (with high confidence) that their nominee was going to win their home states.  They're on the team, and they're being team players.  Would we have wanted Tim Kaine to say, I'm  not sure the President is going to win Virginia, and if he does, it certainly won't be with the same margin he had in 2008?
