  •  I have not heard any shelters plan to close (5+ / 0-)

    Only offices that take applications for aid, and onluy for the duration of the storm. I stiill sincerely doubt that applicants are going to battle the elements to go in to do paperwork. They hopefully remain in shelters in the area, or even move inland if they have family or friends they can shelter with. So what is to be gained by making FEMA staff sit in an empty office?

      any shelters? there has to be a shelter in order for it to be closed.
