  •  I haven't sold them in many years. (3+ / 0-)

I personally took orders when the cookies sold for 35 cents per box and my daughters were never into scouting. But I do have my clandestine sources within the office for purchasing the Thin Mints which I still can't resist.

someone had them in my office for her daughter. I happened to read the ingredients, the stuff in very fine print.

Oh. My. Gawd. No responsible parent would want to have his or her kid ingest that crap. Shame on the Girl Scouts. By now, they should be more aware of food additives and arrange to have their cookies manufactured by a company that wouldn't be seeming to poison the next generation.

Used to put out a couple of order sheets and fellow workers would always have a couple of extra sheets of orders. Always got between 200-300 boxes. Those Thin Mints were the best seller along with the Samoas. Personally I liked the Peanut Butter Patties. The girls would put the orders in bags and tie them with a ribbon and tag with the persons name. I would get them and go in an hour early to deliver them to the persons work case or area.
