We view "The Handmaid's Tale" as cautionary. The GOP views it as an instruction book.

    •  Wow, that almost made me feel sorry for them (4+ / 0-)

Such sad faces, real pain there. But mostly I am just stunned and amazed at all those women, especially the young women, who seem to sincerely want president Mittens. Simply unbelievable.

And those ridiculous, over-the-top fears and beliefs about how Obama is destroying everything on some of those Facebook postings. The entire country is over now in their minds ... it's strange to imagine what they must be feeling with so much fear and loathing taking over their world right now. I guess it's probably just how I felt in the 2000 election when the Supreme Court called off the vote and installed Bush in the presidency. I was deeply, seriously fearful and depressed, and I believed the SCOTUS intervention was a severe loss of integrity in our political system. I'm sure my face looked very much like the ones in those pictures for quite some time.

What goes around comes around I suppose. But seriously, what is up with those Romney supporting women? We need to reach more of them and wake them up, somehow. The one with the bright green eyes and "Romney" written on her  forehead is actually pretty scary, she looks blank, like a stepford girl.
