    But reducing employees reduces billable goods and services.

    It is seriously unlikely that reducing your employees by 20% will make your books healthy.

      'billable" or don't extend credit terms (especially for start ups), e.g. hospitality, tourism

      Some states (FL, in my experience) have a 14 day limit on certain payables (e.g. liquor), meaning if you don't pay them within that time limit, you are "listed" and NO vender can deliver to you.

      You ever take a flyer on a case or three or four of wine or booze you think might sell and doesn't (Fireball, anyone)? This is math that isn't hard.
