    I believe that those who served in Iraq and Afghanistan had - and have - it much harder than those of us who served in Vietnam and Cambodia.

    But they do have one tremendous advantage - their Commander in Chief.  When we came back, Nixon vetoed the Veterans Readjustment and Health Care Act of 1972, calling it "fiscally irresponsible." Never, on the darkest of days, could I ever imagine Barack Obama ever even thinking of doing something similar.
