while reading the article and comments here.  When I read "Social Security is safe, Medicare is safe," I thought - wow.  We really did win.  Considering that Obama won on demographics this presidential year, it is no longer possible to 'repeal and replace' Obamacare.  And Social Security and Medicare are safe.  It is a great day and a great victory for liberalism.

here is an article by a regular poster here at dailykos

he was attacked by not being fair to Obama

he did excellent research for this article

      is is not on firedoglake

will daily kos in the future support people who do the heavy lifting like this to lay out what is going on in DC?

I'm all for heavy lifting as long as the anvil is dropped on the culprits who are draining Obama of his energy and sabotaging his/our mission.  If we're going to raise our expectations of Obama that's fine - but we need to raise America's expectations of members in Congress who fight for the rich.  If we strictly single out Obama, the forces on the other side of this fight escape our wrath and the left is left thinking Obama is a sellout when he's not.  During ACA, Lieberman and Nelson were sellouts.  Did Obama play too nice? YES.  Were we so hard on Obama that we took our eyes off the enemy?  You bet your ass.
