    Take the stimulus.  Krugman was pushing for doubling it.  Obama agreed with him, stated it often in comments, but didn't have the votes in Congress to do so.  THEY WEREN'T THERE.  Krugman can make all the recommendations he wants but he's never once set foot in the smoke filled rooms where the horse trading took place, counted the votes, heard the threats of destroying any cooperation on any stimulus.  

    I've read many articles in the past year where Krugman heaped tons of praise on Obama which wouldn't be happening if Obama was "completely ignoring him".  Stop with the fucking absolutes and black and white.  

    I hope Krugman keeps pushing and screaming.  I'll bet Obama does too cause he needs the outrage to fight these obstructionists.
