would stop with the helpful insights into Republican problems and just shut up.

I see no value in not kicking Republicans while they're down, instead, extending them a helping hand to get back up and become relevant again.

Let them writhe in the slough of despond; let them sink into the abyss of delusion, and let them slog in the sea of mendacity.

    It's all good.

Knows that we need a sane opposition party for this country to function.

The inmates are way, way too close to running the asylum and they are being egged on and abetted by serious cash.

This is unbelievable scary.  Unless you want sharia law.

We need a republican party we can disagree with but work with.  We need their ideas.  We need their pushback.  That's the way our system is designed and that's the way it was successful.

election.  And what you hear in this segment is the beginning of the unwinding.

Expose the lies. Fight for the truth. Push progressive politics. Save our planet. Health care is a right, not a privilege.

The opposition to the pro-corporate and Blue Dog Dem establishment should be coming from progressives, not from the insane right.

The Overton window is far too far to the right in the US. Any opposition should pull if leftward, not try to keep it from moving in a progressive direction.

It's reality-based to ask if the right - the racist, entitled, misogynistic, delusional, arrogant, greed-based, incredibly stupid and dysfunctional right - is actually capable of producing reality-based policy that's any use to anyone who isn't earning a few million a year.

The whole 'spendthrift government' idea has run its course. Opposition should be agitating for infrastructure spending, clean energy investment, upskilling for the 21st century, and useful social and technological innovation.

'Lower taxes and screw anyone who isn't white, rich and non-foreign' is not a sound basis for 21st century government.

"Be kind" - is that a religion?
