      Waiting for the next Congress instead of pressuring the GOP today is simply a wasted opportunity and wasted political capital.

        All he has to do is keep putting this out there that he wants the middle-class tax breaks to continue and the GOP is holding them hostage to tax cuts for Billionaires. He can do approximately zero and BUILD capital if he sticks to his guns on the Top Bracket Tax Cuts.
        And if they hold out and the cuts expire, he can start with the next Congress on new tax cuts, ones named after him! That way it's not about continuing Bush's (bad) policies or about raising taxes, it's about a new working class tax cut. And the GOP will fight that?

        If I ran this circus, things would be DIFFERENT!
