  •  Excellent diary (7+ / 0-)

Not that I haven't celebrated a little on here or that I want to give RWNJs a pass or that I believe for a minute they wouldn't gloat like children had they won, but I've been uncomfortable with all of the gloating directed at right wingers this week.  It feels great, but it might be better--I know, I know--to address their delusional fears like adults and tell them everything will be OK and they will survive.

If we can be gracious in victory rather than burn every bridge, we might actually convert a few of the sane ones.

    Possibly a diary forthcoming....

    •  No. (0+ / 0-)

The last time we were gracious in victory, we turned our backs for a second and the Tea Party appeared.  It's time to attack more of their mythology, and I don't mean religion.  The falsehoods that private sector > public sector and that the businessman/investor is the hero of the American storyline.

      •  I'm not saying don't rebut and debate! (0+ / 0-)

I'm talking more about the "BWAHAHAHAHA WE KICKED YOUR ASS!" stuff that does nothing to debunk teabagger lies and makes us look as immature as the teabaggers to on the fence republicans that we should be able to draw away from the GOP as it spirals into insane depravity.
