    Ok then warrior angel. Thanks.
"Moroni is thought by Latter Day Saints to be the same person as a Book of Mormon prophet-warrior named Moroni, who was the last to write in the golden plates. The book states that Moroni buried them before he died after a great battle between two pre-Columbian civilizations. After he died, he became an angel, and was tasked with guarding the golden plates, and with eventually directing Joseph Smith to their location in the 1820s. According to Smith, he returned the golden plates to Moroni after they were translated and as of 1838 the angel Moroni still had the plates in his possession."

I was raised in the church.  Left it at age 19, spent 20 or more years studying it as well as all the other Major Religions.  Eventually I got an MA in Religious Studies and a PhD in Metaphysics. . .so I have given it all a lot of thought and study.  And I know that along with $6 could get me a Starbucks fancy coffee. . .LOL

I still have lots of family that are active Mormons and a brother who is a Bishop in So Cal.

I wasn't meaning to make a big point, just that there are in most religions major differences in Archangels and other angelic beings.  It matters in many of the circles I move in, but probably not to most folks.

Thanks for the Wikipedia entry, it is pretty accurate.

Mormon, nor am I a member of any other religion, so do tread carefully around these subjects. I hope i did not offend but was synthesizing some stuff I had read about prayer meetings and other requests to help Romney both within the Mormon religion and evangelicals.

It was not a big deal to me.  Just know that less than accurate stuff seems to get spread around the intertubes as fact by others regardless of their good intentions.
