  •  Which is why his humility was touching (12+ / 0-)

when he spoke to his staffers. He is humble and sincere and this is still reasonating through all of us. But I am so proud of Americans who refused to be bought and were persistent and stood in long lines and argued with families and co-workers, maybe lost a friend here or there. I now understand how money can't buy everything including happiness. President Obama and the White House was not for sale nor on the auction block. His tears of sincerity and the enormity of it all were our tears in that room of thanking them, us and the naysayers. I still can't have a decent conversation with my repub friends, but in time perhaps when sanity prevails, I can heal those self inflicted wounds. However as long as the batshit crazy talk pervades any attempts to a conversation that is rational, frankly my dear I don't give a damn. I am rooting that this man will make us proud. piss us all if we disagree and that will just make him the human who cares about America. I can sleep with him at the wheel. So be it!!

"Then they came for me - and there was no one left to speak for me." Then they came for Big Bird,,,what? ~kay~
