is a logical fallacy.  You don't know how the investigation started.  You don't know if/how she had access to his laptop, desktop, mobile, or email.  But thanks for your expert guessing.

initiated it. Now clearly this is not established fact, but IF his sources are correct, then that narrows down the likely scenarios to discuss. Clearly we need to wait for more facts to come out, but I don't mind providing expert information on probable scenarios. You're welcome.

talked to a official CIA spox and they are giving him the official party line.  If he didn't get it from a spox there would currently be a massive investigation of the cia's it department.  I'm not saying that the IT department didn't discover some anomaly and start and investigation but at this point all you are doing is slapping your "expert information" sticker on your assumptions and speculation.

Because that seems to be the undercurrent of what you're saying. I make no apologies for the information I'm providing. Having people informed on what is and isn't likely is a good thing so that they can listen to reports with a more informed mindset.

appears to be neither relevant or correct.

The recipient of the e-mails was so frightened that she went to the FBI for protection and help tracking down the sender, according to the officials. The FBI investigation traced the threats to Paula Broadwell, a former military officer and Petraeus biographer, and uncovered explicit e-mails between Broadwell and Petraeus, the officials said.
            Breaking on Petraeus another woman

No rooted laptop taking screen caps, no tracking of log in locations, times, or surreptitious reading of gmail, just a crazy woman trying to protect the object of her obsession.  But thanks again for sharing your expert information baseless speculation while demanding sources from the diarist.  As I said, delicious.

You seem determined to be a trolling assclown, but whatever.

I based it on comments from Richard Engel on TRMS as I mentioned in other comments. There are still conflicting reports on exactly what happened when, so until all of the facts are in, we don't know for sure.

As to the information I provided -- it was VERY relevant if what Richard Engel said proves correct. Even if it wasn't, people might have learned some things they otherwise didn't know and I don't see anything wrong with that. Keep trolling if you want though.

one current CIA, one not current but formerly CIA and he was damn uncomfortable sharing that info on Maddow.

mittens=edsel. no matter how much money is spent to promote it, if the product sucks, no one will buy it.
