  •  How do we make 2014 NOT a repeat of 2010? (15+ / 0-)

Could Obama lend his organization to House and Senate races?  I wonder how that works.

    •  We won't have a repeat if President Obama sticks (4+ / 0-)

to his guns and doesn't give into rethug hostage taking.

if Democrats get their priorities straight and don't sit on their duffs come time to vote in the mid terms, and more importantly, if the Democratic base figures out a way to disagree with the president without depressing enthusiasm.

And beyond all that, the Democratic party must be educated to the fact that mid terms are as important as presidential elections. Our voting record in mid terms generally sucks, and that has to change, regardless of where we do or don't agree with the president.

Because there's a lot at stake, and there was not ONE GOOD THING achieved by our poop out in 2010, rather, we will be living with the consequences of that election for some time to come.

a day or two ago. That would refer to giving or loaning it.

Maybe they'll decide to use it themselves though. I think there's a lot more news to come on this topic.

    •  Run more women, LBGTQ, black, & Latino candidates (0+ / 0-)

Seriously, those voters were key. Not everywhere -- Patrick Murphy in FL for example -- but in many places, running candidates who are not white straight males lends excitement to the races.

So if you know people in your district who might be convinced to run, it's not to early for them to start exploring, get advice from EMILY's List and other progressive candidate-trainers, and raising money.
