My recommendation was a direct counter to your hide rating.

I would not have recommended it if you hadn't done so.

If you remove your hide rating, I'll remove my recommend.

No rucking way.  This diary endorses a special "mental scan" for religious minorities because they are "mentally disordered".

Ask gay people how that label works in operation.  Ask any religious minority how that work

If we had a diary dropping the n-word all over and talking about how black people are "mentally disordered" and should be scanned before being allowed into office, I would HR that also, no matter how many kossacks revved it up.  This is only ok because it is Mormons we are talking about and the bigotry on this site is so disgustingly thick you could cut it with a knife if only you all were not such eager participants in this dog whistle.

      •  not going to hide rate you (0+ / 0-)

If I acted like you, I'd hide rate you for your last sentence.
        "You people" indeed.

Your comment here is full of false equivalences.

You did understand that the diary was hyperbole, right?

        •  I don't really care tht it is hyperbole (0+ / 0-)

It is extremely offensive hyperbole and those who are defending it are behaving reprehensibly.

False equivalency my ass.  "false equivalency" is trotted out as a defense by people whose reprehensible behavior has been calle out.   What's next, a "I am sorry if anyone was offended" Rush Limbaugh non apology?

Apparently this is not an anti bigotry site.  Only anti bigotry against the right groups of people only

Say anything you like about Mormons though.   If there were any Mormon kossacks, I'll bet there aren't now.  A lot of Kossacks don't treat all bigotries as equivalent, but they should

        •  Excuse me (0+ / 0-)

I hide rated a diary for calling an entire religion a "mental disorder" and some how that's equivalent to saying I am disgusted with people who defends such statements.  Hmm.  Where have I heard that kind of logic before?
