    supporting them."  This is true in most occupations.  We have a "managerial" class that overpays itself and undervalues the work of those they manage, or claim to manage.  Think of hospital administrators and insurance company executives vis a vis physicians, nurses, technicians and aides.  Think of administrators in universities, public school districts vis a vis teachers.  Retail clerks, cooks, coal miners and others.  The list goes on and on.

    I believe the ratio of administrator compensation to worker pay is at an all time high and one of the highest, if not the highest, in the world.

      They have no practical skills and have to rely on their gift of gab to sustain themselves.
      Perhaps because humans are actually reluctant parents, the more vociferous young thrive and thus the advantage of oral communication is born. Then oral communication masks practical incompetence.
      "All talk, no action!"

      We organize governments to provide benefits and prevent abuse.
