  •  A lot of GA reps (4+ / 0-)

may jump in against Chambliss, especially if he shows any more willingness to talk to Democrats.  Just being a part of the Gang of Six has cost him already.

Tom Price is the name talked about most.  But Georgia is not Indiana, or Missouri.  We are deep red down here.

He's in both the Republican Study Committee (I think he may be the current chairman) and the Tea Party Caucus and today he pushed back against Boner's surrender on attempting to repeal Obamacare. He's ambitious.

      •  Price is the other one, w/ Chambliss (3+ / 0-)

a useless partisan dick who won't hear from his constituents unless they contribute;  a party apparatchik as shameless as anyone out of Stalin's CCCP - and as hateful, hurtful and heinous as any of his 'quieter' confreres

This year, I'm doing something I've never done before - I'm voting a straight Democratic ticket

      •  Correction; he's Policy Committee Chairman... (0+ / 0-)

...which makes him the #5 Republican in the House (behind Boner, Cantor, McCarthy and Hensarling). So he's already in the leadership and perhaps angling for a promotion.
