    those missing votes are probably in the stack they didn't recount.

      This is an apples to apples recount.  Either a stack was counted twice the first time or data was double entered.

        It could be a double count on the first go round or it could be that they misplaced a batch with some other day.  The way to tell would be to compare the counted ballots with the daily number of voters signed in.  If the difference is approximately 900 votes, those ballots had better be somewhere, if there is no difference the double counting is the most likely explanation  Without the sign in numbers we don't know.
