  •  I once had a male character (10+ / 0-)

Who underwent a sex change thanks to a spell.  His reaction was to look into his pants, scream "THEY'RE GONE!!!!!!" at the top of his lungs, and faint.

The GM just about fell out of his chair laughing.  Good times.

    •  I did some LARPing with Jason G. (1+ / 0-)

1885 London. My husband did the Scarlet Pimpernel as a vampire, complete with Regency garb and a can and the silly giggle, and a whole lot of "sink mes" and "demme".  I did a character who often behaved like Lorelie Lee but who was actually a well-known artist (under a male name, claiming to be a recluse who lived in the country and had uncertain health) though the art she showed people tended to the sort of stuff Dolores Umbridge liked.  She was also a reformer who unbeknownst to most was a champion and funder of the early suffrage movement and of retraining prostitutes for job that were semi-espectable and paid better.  I loved Nuala the vampire. One evening one of the guys who played a harumphy British Major (SIr Evelyn WInston was the whole name) whow anted to clean up the streets. ANd I lsot it in character. He was going on about putting temptresses in jail--and Is tood up.

Nuala/I said, "And if there were no men who gave in to temptation, there'd be no temptresses! And if they had jobs which provided a living wage and didn't leave them blind at 35 as happens to seamstresses and milliners, they wouldn't be tempted to tkae to the streets in the first place!"

ANd stormed off, followed by my hsuband as Percy.

Not as witty as yours was, but one of thsoe moments which make LARPing amusing.

Jason moved to your neck of the woods, and we dropped out. Too many problems (one of htem a Borderline Personality Disorder) and the storytellers never did a damned thing with our group, and especially its females.

The last time we mixed religion and politics people got burned at the stake.
