      in other states, but in CA, we redistrict every ten years coincident with the census.

      I bet there are other states, like Texas, where that is true also if you are correct.

      The problem is, if it's a red state, it's NOT going to go our way unless their is legal intervention. In the states that just gerrymandered, anyone know whether legal action was taken by dems or anyone?

      I recall the fights in Texas, but don't remember them well and don't remember any other great fights on the issue.
