makes it seem like a call-out diary against another Kossack, which is a no-no. You might want to edit it, and just link ekyprogressive's diary in a way that states "they also wrote a dairy." Given the time before election, any buzz is good buzz for someone about to get into politics.

I'm an Ashely Judd fan so I'd be routing for her.

Also, hun, you really want to think about linking your personal Facebook page to a public diary. It invites attention and the weirdos to come out of the woodwork... not from Daily Kos so much as you could get harassed by the opposition.

    •  I did not intend this as a call-out diary. (3+ / 0-)

I hope ekyprogressive won't take it that way. I merely intended to extend the discussion on the merits of Ashley Judd as a Senate candidate. As for the facebook link - That link was to the wall of the active Democrat who reposted my original link, not to my own wall. He's used to deflecting vitriol. My own personal facebook friends include a pretty good pool of weirdos. One regularly uses language implying violence to members of the opposition. So much so that one other person has suggested that he ought to be on a terrorist watch list. Just imagine the worst comment you might find on a right wing blog, triple it in intensity and you'll come close to what I already put up with on my facebook page.

      •  I don't... ;-) (0+ / 0-)

It's all good, Kossacks can disagree. Here in Knott/Floyd/Perry area, all you hear is "war on coal" blah blah blah blah blah...LOL. It's discouraging, that and all the Obama hate I hear locally. When I wrote that, I felt that an objective evaluation of one of her major positions, in light of local "feel" of that position was warranted. It concerns me, it really does. But I don't feel called out. In fact, I hope I am wrong if she does run. :-)

but apparently I failed to push all the right buttons. Vocal locals in my own neighborhood would likely concur with those in your neighborhood. I don't see that as a reason not to try to draft a true progressive to run against McConnell. I hope that there may be untapped potential in the KY electorate, which might be drawn out if KY ever had anything on the ballot besides Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats

    •  that's allowed, not just in titles IIRC . . . (7+ / 0-)

Your entire post reads like you're condescendingly talking to a child.  Thanks for the "wisdom."
