    Mountains of money, Everests of money were spent on
    both sides and it's just possible that their money was not more effective because the tsunami of our money countered its effects.  I just read that in my state, an expansion of gambling was accepted by the electorate and collectively groups pro (gambling interests) and con (gambling interests in other states what wanted to keep their monopoly on it) spent $35.00 per voter in our state.

    The influence of money is far, far from over.  Money still had its successes.
