is to break the back of the Republican caucus in the House.  A good start would be writing every one of our Republican Representatives.  I'm sure many of us and our friends and families live in districts with Republican Rep's that they don't want representing them.  If there are any sane Republicans left, their constituents raising holy hell with them could result in a turning point.  Once the House Republican caucus starts fracturing, only the true nutjobs - not a majority - will be threatening the economic future of the country.

If Reid seriously (severely!) reforms the rules in the Senate as he's promised, those Republican senators won't be able to take any hostages at all, despite what delusions McConnell is harboring.

"In this world of sin and sorrow there is always something to be thankful for; as for me, I rejoice that I am not a Republican." - H. L. Mencken
