  •  Someone should start doing this kind of thing (9+ / 0-)

in the entire Rio Grande valley in Texas.  Good for health, good for democracy.

If the southern Texas mostly hispanic vote would start turning out in large numbers, Texas would turn blue a lot faster and Texas healthcare would get better.

    Excellent work.

I hope someone does. These events were a lot of fun. So many people contributed their talent and time.

I find all the talk about free stuff very funny. These people were celebrating kindness and community. It wasn't about stuff at all.

influence the House races & turn Texas "Blue" that much faster.  And if we have this kind of coordinated grass roots activism on a National scale, we can win the House in 2014.

The most beautiful part of this process is that it is rooted in helping people on a personal level. Reaching out, doing something vital and good for people. It's main thrust is in improving people's lives, in caring about them, their towns, the quality of their lives.

When we think about how many people do not vote, if we can get those people to the polls, we can change the face of politics.

I voted for the human beings.
