  •  If there is no bargain on the Bush tax cuts (0+ / 0-)

    what happens to the debt ceiling and unemployment extensions? Do we lose on those if Obama doesn't cut a deal? Can he include both of those and solve all of this in 1 deal? Seems like that was how the deal was put together last time with the debt ceiling.

      Those expire too. Also the payroll tax cut.

      Those are more worrisome than the rest of the Bluff because they were the most effective stimulus, and because DC doesn't seem to want to extend either. (Yes, the payroll tax cut needs to be split out from SS, but the money was effective.)
