  •  Persistantly tried to "forge ties" to Centcom (0+ / 0-)
Kelley received an award last year for her support to Central Command and was named an honorary ambassador for the command, an unpaid position with no official duties. But she has angered some senior officers for what were described as persistent efforts by her to forge close personal ties to successive Central Command four-star officers by deluging them with emails, a former Central Command aide said. After being named honorary ambassador, she asked the command for staff at the headquarters to help her organize social functions, a former U.S. official said.

She is either completely insane or a spy.   She somehow managed to apoint herself "liason" between Centcom generals and Lebanese and other M.E. leaders.   This could certainly be viewed as giving official US support to the opinions of one faction in Lebanon, since she is a refugee from the Civil War there (Maronite.)

What little hope we have of being an "honest broker" in the region (ha ha) is certainly undermined by their dalliances with a partisan from the region.

Spies are generally not so obvious.  The deluging with emails thing.

Out of control emailing seems to be a running theme of this debacle.
