    recovery, which is a way to assign a legally mandated debt like child support or parking fines to a third party for collection.

    Since there is no court judgement in this case, Tiny Louis may be your best option.

      Businesses assign debt every day. Most commonly, there is no judgment involved. The legal concept is that there is a contract, and a party to a contract can assign performance, or the right to receive performance - such as collection of funds.

        Judgement Recovery.

        If this debt was sold to someone for collection, fine. Just how a contract can be proved may be sticky, though. And may require a lawyer upfront.
