what you are asking. You need to come down to the Cuyahoga County board of elections, register as an observer, and see what we are doing. You think it's over the top to still be counting THIRTY THOUSAND PLUS provisionals a week after the election? Please. And "there's no end is sight" is incorrect: there is a drop-dead deadline, and we were told going in we would be working overtime if we fell behind.

The "methods use to record and count the vote" are reliable, and again, I suggest you come observe before you make such pronouncements. I am becoming less and less in the mood for this kind of pronouncements made by people who simply don't know what's involved.

I think, by and large, they are dedicated to the task. I am criticizing the system. In the case of Ohio, the Secretary of State has engaged in blatantly illegal acts aimed at reducing accessibility to the polls and cooking the count. But nationally, there are a multiple cases of "who could have known?" being used as the excuse for all the shortcomings being seen (AZ is just one example.) There is much too much room for mischief on the state and local levels.

The fact that your count is short-staffed falls into that category. That's not your fault. The fact that some voting machine(s) in Ohio were found to be miscounting is not your fault. The fact that Husted made up the rules for provisionals as he went along is not your fault.

All those could eventually be brought under control if the states had to adhere to enforceable requirements. Purposeful lack of planning, lack of staffing, and lack of funding should be actionable by the DOJ.
