that Luke Russert is as dumb as the guy he played on tv.  BA from BC may not bode well, despite the lineage, but the job of the media includes putting stupid stuff in stark relief, and he did that.  Whether or not he 'meant' it requires a mountain of external evidence to determine.  Until proven otherwise, I prefer to assume it was a question asked to provoke a response.  It worked.

doubt that Luke Russert is as dumb as a box of rocks.  You are free to conclude that he sees his job as putting stupid stuff in stark relief.
The more obvious conclusion, IMHO, is every bit as dumb as he appears in this instance and many others.  One example among many:

Many people continue to believe that Sarah Palin is uniquely brilliant and that we are just too dumb to recognize it.

      •  Or we could try an unofficial, unscientific (0+ / 0-)

poll- well not really a poll, just a google search:

Luke Russert is dumb- garners 329,000 hits
(the first being the site "Seriously Luke Russert STFU"; many other hits with supporting evidence of LR dumbness)

Luke Russert is smart -comes in a distant second with 69.900 hits (most of which seem to consist of Luke Russert saying that other people, things, or events are smart).
