  •  Just goes to prove that the smartest guys (12+ / 0-)

in the room...still ain't so smart. Which is exactly why they aren't worth bazillions more. Now, in the government, that problem isn't nearly so big. If this were the private sector, this mistake would be made by someone earning $20M. And then they'd get a $150M to walk away.

Purging predominantly minority voters and requiring them to present IDs to vote in the face of VIRTUALLY NON-EXISTENT VOTER FRAUD is RACISM! I hereby declare all consenting Republicans RACISTS until they stand up and object to these practices!

mistakes don't directly result in the possible deaths of people.

My concern about Petraeus is not so much his affair but the way in which he shared information with the neo-con contingent, allowed them unfettered access to military operations, and his use of CIA equipment for his booty call emails. The last item could have jeopardized every one of CIA computers on his network.

But I give up. Never cease to be amazed at the inanity and stupidity of our higher-ups. Arrogance, hubris, ignorance and authoritarianim make for a wonderful combination.

IMAO he and Broadwell belong in detention until this is resolved. Particularly since she seems to be an active neo-con who may have caused the loss of lives.

If... the machine of government... is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law. ~Henry David Thoreau, On the Duty of Civil Disobediance, 1849
