  •  this is orchestrated (8+ / 0-)

Numerous right wingers are using the same terminology about Susan Rice and Benghazi.  This is orchestrated.  McCain and Graham are chosen to trot it out, because they are 'so pro-national security'.  I speculate this is an attempt to sidetrack and distract Obama from his real business of letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the rich, and other priorities of Democrats.  If Obama gets mired in a fight over Susan Rice, or anyone else, for a nomination for Secretary of State, or if the Repugs are successful in getting a paralyzing investigation of Benghazi going, the Repugs believe Obama might compromise on other priorities in order to get his nominee of choice. I think McCain and Graham are disgusting and deserve to be discredited.

I think it has more to do with foreign policy. Are they afraid of her ? Do they prefer Kerry, who, like Hillary, tends to be more conservative (less bold) than the President when it comes to foreign policy?

racism and sexism, to be honest.  They don't like two out of the four most powerful people in the country to be minorities - and one of them an "outspoken"* female.

*Read a woman of color and not "one of us" -i.e. an academic and diplomat, not a previously elected official.
