    from the Democratic House. Getting rid of the filibuster would absolutely matter for legislative issues. IN fact, it's the opposite. The only good the filibuster has been is to block radical SCOTUS appointments, but the Democrats did not block the Roberts court. Democrats failed to use the filibuster. Everything good and strong always came from the House while it was Democratically controlled and it always died in the Senate especially health care, the public option, and national exchanges instead of state exchanges. That is just not accurate.

    Yes, all appropriation bills have to come from the House, but the Senate basically gets to rewrite whatever it wants when it's only supposed to be the house of review. There are holds and other maneuvers, but getting rid of the filibuster has much more meaning that you are giving it. The House might as well not exist except to fund government for the Senate to dictate how it is run or not run as there is no real bicameralism anymore.
