    died of cerebral hemorrhages due to beatings and being thrown down the stairs by my father. My father due primarily to his position in the community (executive) and the fact that my mother had no recourse at that time in the deepest pit of the Malvern, PA suburbs. How many more millions have suffered since then?

    We need to protect not just women, but also others who are vulnerable to acts of violence.
