    the wall for Medicare.

    If it's good enough for your kids, and it's good enough for you, why isn't it good enough for Grandma?

    How can this model of corporate subsidy be both the Most Progressive Thing Ever and be a horrible idea that shouldn't be allowed to replace Medicare?

    Nah, they'll just dump the over 70 or over 75's on us.  If they can, they'll continue to dump the very poor on us, since they're sicker and less profitable.  

    The only way to succeed on Wall Street is to grow forever, and the only way they can grow is by having government compel more suckers to buy their product.

    I can't get over, to this day, that people either were or pretended to be stupid enough to think this was a "step toward" single payer rather than the death of the idea for another generation.
