    the sequester the President agreed to specifically excluded those categories of spending from the automatic cuts.

    That's not exactly a "track record" of supporting benefit cuts.

    No, I haven't "read up on" how the President supports those things, because there isn't anything to suggest he does, and quite a bit of evidence - such as his ACTUAL RECORD IN OFFICER - demonstrating the opposite.

    Also, the idea that no one in the House would put something on the table unless the Democratic support it is quite wrong.  Are you familiar with the Democratic Party?  We're not exactly the lock-step Republicans.  People go off the reservation all the time.

    You sound exactly as confident as the people who told me to "wake up" in July 2011.  You talk about a "deal with the Speaker," but you seem to have failed to notice that the deal never happened.  A different deal, one that didn't contain any benefit cuts, happened.  Learn something from history, instead of just checking your gut.
