    viable business. No one cares whether something is made in the U.S. with union labor or made overseas.

      however there aren't enough to make "Made in the USA" or "Made with Union Labor" viable selling points in and of themselves. There are some markets that can support such businesses, but those are few and far between. With decreased average spending power of American workers the selling union and US made goods is damned hard since they lack the subsidies and externalized costs benefits of nonunion and foreign manufacture.
