You two should really just go for it. Something small with a counter and maybe ten tables. Breakfast, lunch, dinner kind of small diner. Build your reputation on good, home cooked food at affordable prices. That fast food junk is all fat, salt and sugar.

I'm sure your Wife is a great cook and the place will be always be packed.

Why should she work so hard to make some unappreciative bastard rich!

It's terrible how these fast food places work their employees. I worked in one a couple of summers ago. Drive through cashier, burger cooker and general cups, bags, utensils, condiments etc. restocker. One is not allowed to do nothing. And I only got $7 an hour.

for a yoga studio throughout Rockville Center on Long Island, NY.

i gotta say the downtown center is dying.  lots of vacancies and all the "specialty" shops are going out of business.  there are a few bars, a few restaurants, a larger number of cheap eats like gyro boss and slices, a movie theater and two yoga studios.

but, basically, it's primarily eateries that are still in business and even they look like they're hurting.

when someone figures out how to make a restaurant superstore, kiss middle class america goodbye...
