    My husband used to work for a small mom & pop manufacturing company. Raises and bonuses were the norm. Then the family retired and sold the business. No more raises and bonuses.

    Since then his company has become a commodity. Bought and sold on Wall Street. He may have to live in California next year as his new employers buy more, little manufacturing companies meanwhile his family lives on the east coast.

    My husband has been going through cancer and chemo this year and has been working his ass off. Disability was not an option for us as it wouldn't pay the bills. We would've lost our home. So I've been watching him puke on his way to work almost everyday.

    Great republican world we live in. What would corporate Jesus do?
