    to jail. So with corporations to take the rap for them, CEOs and others are off the hook for any wrongdoing. Isn't that just lovely for them?

      a corporate VP or above has to sign off on company safety policies and procedures, as well as environmental compliance.
      With the big pay check comes some responsibility, as the one who signs is usually the one who goes to jail. So while it wouldn't be the President or CEO/CFO, it would be upper management held to account, not just some mid level safety/compliance manager.
