  •  As a server w/ 20 years under my apron, I will (8+ / 0-)

    say that having a table move to a different area/"section" would make things harder for me to serve you at my best - unless we were not busy.

    Your vacated table would be reseated, all of my other tables are in that area and, in a logistical and can-I-see-you-if-you-need-something sense, it would be less than ideal.

    All that said, it happens and we adjust.  Also, the "manager" should have presented it very differently.  

    My 20% oops, 0.02.   :o)

    The GOP says you have to have an ID to vote, but $ Millionaire donors should remain anonymous?

      but, as you said, the manager should have presented it differently. I can appreciate him standing up for his employees, but I think he just had to be "right" and as a result lost two customers forever.
      BTW: We eat out at least two meals a day, 7 days a week.
