    My experience with AT&T, and that of many I know, differs from the post above.  In fact, AT&T is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced from any business ever. Ever.  They efffing suck.  Last year traveling overseas, they turned off my friend's phone because his bill was higher (calling his girlfriend in Japan regular).  He was on autopay, had been on autopay for years, and never been late or missed a payment.  And they just turned his phone off with no notice.  The he used my phone to call a "free" international customer service number. I was charged $60 for the call (I got it taken off).  And there was no positive resolution.  AT&T is a nightmare. Don't go there if you don't have to.
