  •  And which exit polls (7+ / 0-)

    gave us this statistic:

One voter in six cited the storm as the key factor in their decision to back Obama according to exit polls

    Link, Dick?

    Reference?

    Source?

What am I thinking.  No right wing blogs/pundits/'analysts' EVER source their material.

I think the current Republican elite is made up of all the kids no one ever picked for dodgeball grown up.

    •  Actually, that one is true (4+ / 0-)

15% said Sandy was the biggest factor in making their decision.

      •  And why? (1+ / 0-)

        Just extrapolating here, but...

could it have been because in the aftermath of the storm, Obama looked like a take-charge kinda guy and

        (a) they remembered W NOT being a take-charge guy; and

        (b) O looked like he cared about all the people who got socked by Sandy, and Mitt looked like HE only cared about a photo-op?

D'ya think that might have a tiny bit to do with O's trouncing the Rs at the polls?

To make the argument that the media has a left- or right-wing, or a liberal or a conservative bias, is like asking if the problem with Al-Qaeda is do they use too much oil in their hummus. Al Franken

        or 15% of the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast?

That's an incredible statistic if 15% of all voters were persuaded to vote for re-election because after 4 years they recognized leadership when they saw it.

I wonder how many people voted for Romney because of all the kvetching about Benghazi.

We've been spelling it wrong all these years. It's actually: PRO-GOP-ANDA

    •  Just because 15% pointed to................ (0+ / 0-)

Sandy as their Key Factor; doesn't mean that absent Sandy they would not have voted for BHO. Most probably would have and selected another key Factor.

      •  Funny how they always forget about (0+ / 0-)

Joe Biden's kickass take down of Lyin' Ryan and the president's devasting 2nd and 3rd debates against a version of Mitt Rmoney who all but endorsed him.  So, it's never that the Democratic ticket did a GREAT job, & Mitt, let's face it, sucked.  No, it was the storm.
