    then you are correct that's not labor's "fault."  But if that's true, a strike was a disservice to the union members, because it seems unlikely that management could make the concessions they were seeking and stay in business.

      Hostess had already said that 9 of the 33 bakeries would closed; that was their grand plan.   The reason for the strike is because of the offer for outgoing workers of the factories to be closed, and to help determine which would be closed as the fear was that all the factories in "union" states would be closed and right-to-work state bakeries would stay in an attempt to make changes.

      Issues like this are more complex then black/white.

        There was a liquidation specialist at work as well.  How many companies planning on restructuring have a liquidation specialist onboard?
