  •  President Obama knows how to fight better than (7+ / 0-)

Clinton. They won't have an easy path this time, even if they didn't win.

President has his base too and soon respectable Republicans will defend this president if those yahoos in congress keep taking their party over the cliff.

      the GOP is.

What is underreported is how different the Democratic party is. The current Democratic White House occupant has not and will not be swiftboated, regardless of the many attempts.

nstead of having a single pointperson (Karl Rove) in the White House dedicated to endless campaigning, the current White House has Organizing for America in 50 states, stays in operation all year long and has been doing so ever since 2008.

In the old days there was no coordinated to push back to Drudge's breathless reports on Monica Lewinsky. Now there's us, there's Twitter, there's MSNBC and a post-Swiftboat White House that treats rapid response seriously.

From the passage of healthcare reform being upheld by the Supreme Court, to Wall Street reform, to passage of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, to the fizzle of Solyndra and Fast & Furious, the Republicans have a lot more failures and losses than they want to admit to.

They pushed Benghazi as a scandal prior to Election Day and hoped it would be their October Surprise but that tactic and their candidate were rejected by voters on November 6.

The GOP's problem is they're using tired 20th century tactics on a 21st century President and electorate.

      May they never learn.

The choice of our lifetime: Mitt Romney, It Takes A Pillage or President Barack Obama, Forward Together.
