object to what they want being called Sharia Law.

You know, I've always found it amusing to downright LOL to see and hear what some seem to take from Christianity where sex and sexuality is rarely addressed.  Certainly not by Jesus who advises the Samaritan Woman at the well that perhaps "one 'husband' at time" would be sufficient",  the woman accused of adultery who Jesus defends and other than that he doesn't seem to consider the subject at all important.

Outside of Leviticus the Old Testament seems full of sex and violence as well as sex drugs and rock'n'roll.  King David found Bathsheba more attractive and important than his friendship with his general Uriah the Hittite, Hebrews from end to end of the Old Testament were appearing hither and yon "spilling their seed on the ground", the so-called weaker sex were leading armies, cutting off the heads of enemy generals and kings and other body parts, getting their father's drunk and two or three daughters having a wonderful time (Noah) and an entire book devoted to eroticism known as the Song of Solomon.

What ever it is, it's not Sharia and while sodomy is probited in Leviticus it appears all over the Old Testament as well.

So if the fundamentalists want to go back to what was done 2-5 thousand years ago I'd have to answer everything you can think of sexually and probably lots, lots more.

We can live in today or live life not understanding yesterday is a cancelled cheque, tomorrow but a promise all while we piss on today.

agree with Sharia precepts is not surprising but I have found many of them are unaware that Islam is also an Abrahamic faith and shares the same Jewish roots as Christianity
