    (Judas') goal was to force Jesus into using his divine powers and establishing the kingdom of heaven here on earth.  In other words, Judas wanted to bring about the End Times by forcing the hand of Jesus.

      Judas I. talks like a Zealot various times, and he rejects all mysticism in favor of either revolution or, well, revolution.

      Me, I can't see that a prophecy needs help. If it will happen, then it will happen. It is hubris -- not merely pride but a sacrilege -- to think that we can tell God when to execute a prophecy and what it must look like. It's pride worthy of the morning star.

      Time is not a fiction; it is a narrative.
