just South of Boston, named Scituate.
It sits right on the Coast.

The town decided to build a Wind Turbine on the site
of what was once the Town Landfill.

The Turbine feeds the Grid and the Town gets a Check
    from the state electric Cooperative.

Massachusetts State Law states that the Utilities
MUST buy electricity from ANY Producer that wants to
feed excess electricity onto the Grid.

The Law makes NO distinction between sources.
Solar and Wind are treated Equally and the price you
receive for your home-Grown KWH is set by the State.

I don't know what the Rules are in other States.
The Massachusetts law seems like a fair way to make
    small, Local efforts worth doing.
